Job Description:
Individuals applying for this position should be capable of performing design studies where the design objectives are defined by a detail physical specification; developing and accumulating raw data measurements from physical inspections of electronic equipment and facilities and transforming the data into design layouts; producing detailed electrical, electronic schematics utilizing operation of a Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) system to include I/O devices. The individual shall produce mechanical drawings from layouts in accordance with DOD-D-1000B and ANSI/ASME Y14.1-1995 and produce working drawings and schematics of parts and assemblies from sketches, layouts and design plans.
Education:
Individuals should have a High School Diploma or equivalent and (6) years experience in the drafting of engineering documentation in accordance with NSG or DoD Standards, as well as current working knowledge of applicable military and industry standards, tolerances, and standard drawing practices. The applicant shall have at least (5) years experience with AutoCAD Release 14 or a more recent version.
Must be a US citizen. Security clearance required.
