Job Description:
Qualified candidates must have an Associate Degree and (3) years of experience in the maintenance and support of complex electronic communications equipment at NSG activities or similar DoD sites or (5) years of experience in the maintenance and support of complex electronic communications equipment at NSG activities or similar DoD sites. Candidates should have (5) years of experience in the development of Installation Design Plans (IDP’s) and Base Electronics Systems Engineering Plans (BESEPS) in addition to (3) years experience in site survey participation, managing systems installations, maintenance of field support for information technology, AIS and system related equipment. The individual shall have a thorough understanding of RF equipment/systems including antennas, preamplifiers, cables, receivers, demodulators, converters, digital components, interfaces, routers, printers, recorders, computers, analog and digital displays, fiber optics and I/O devices such as printers, recorders and test equipment. Candidates must be capable of fault isolation, repair and testing of complex level problems and shall be knowledgeable of AC/DC power, grounding and equipment heating/cooling requirements. Candidates must also have at least (2) years experience managing subordinate technical personnel.
