Manufacturing

Quanta is a systems designer, manufacturer, and integrator of physical and electronic equipment and systems. The integration process often involves the physical and functional interfacing of disparate types of security equipment and components and may require the design, fabrication and/or assembly of specialized electrical, electronic, and/or mechanical interface units. When manufacturing support is required for a task assignment, Quanta is well-staffed to take on a broad range of manufacturing projects involving both mechanical devices and electronic assemblies. These resources include:

  • An in-house electronic and mechanical fabrication area for chassis, cable, and product assembly and testing and for system staging and testing.
  • Local subcontractor relationships for supplemental fabrication and assembly (both mechanical and electronic), including machine work such as milling, shaping, turning, boring, grinding, and welding.

Quanta's staff is fully prepared for MILSPEC-compliant electrical, electronic, and mechanical fabrication and assembly of electro-mechanical systems and subassemblies. Where appropriate, we pre-assemble and check out each system prior to shipping. On arrival at the job site, the equipment is reassembled for installation and then rechecked for performance against specifications. For more than 50 years, Quanta has been actively installing and integrating a wide variety of physical and electronic security systems. These include perimeter barriers, exterior intrusion detection sensors and surveillance devices, facility access control equipment, interior intrusion detection sensors and surveillance equipment, and central security control consoles.
