Quanta develops operational and maintenance training plans for all types of installed systems, and training programs are conducted as specified by individual delivery orders. As with the design and documentation procedures, all training plans are submitted to the customer's technical representative for review and approval prior to the start of training.
Quanta's training programs are designed to address all elements of a specific system; these training plans are tailored to the knowledge, skills, and abilities of the end user and provide detailed instructions on systems operation and maintenance to the level desired by the individual customers. The objective is full comprehension of the information provided in the operating and maintenance manuals.
Training is provided by senior staff members who are thoroughly familiar with the installation configuration and the systems (hardware and software) being used. The training materials used during the program include operator manuals, technical brochures, schematics, and block diagrams of the various subsystems and systems.
The training programs are divided into appropriate basic areas; e.g., one area for an access control and intrusion detection system, and another for the closed circuit television system, etc. Less complicated elements (UPS, intercom, gate control, etc.) may be grouped and included when and if the customer deems it appropriate.
